Overview

8 DAYS Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu(1400m) to Pokhara(850m) Duration of time:6-7 hours On the first day, you take a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara via a private car. It takes about 6-7 hours to reach Pokhara. You can enjoy rivers, mountains and forests during the drive. After you arrive at Pokhara, you will be heading towards your hotel or take a look around Pokhara city. When you reach Pokhara, you will check into a hotel and explore Pokhara lakeside where you will enjoy an orientation walk around the lake side with a guide. In the evening you will find a great restaurant in lakeside for dinner. Overnight at Lodge in Pokhara Day 02: Drive from Pokhara(850m) to Nayapul(1070m) and trek to Ulleri(2010m) Duration of time:5-6 hours Today morning, you will have breakfast and you will drive to reach Nayapul along the dusty and zigzag route which takes almost 2 hours to reach there. On the way to Nayapul, your way goes through Bamboo forests and a large waterfall. After reaching there, you will start your trek to Tikhedhunga. You can explore tons of forests decorated with different species of floras and rivers situated in the side or middle of the forests.Birethanti also comes on your way. For lunch you will reach Lumle. On the way, a large riverside village is located at the point of Modi and Bhurung stream. You will observe the beautiful farming lands. Finally you will reach Tikhe Danda. You will then climb steep stone steps which are nearly 3500 stares towards Magar village named Ulleri. From there you can see Annapurna south(7219m) and Hiuchuli(6441m). Overnight at Lodge in Ulleri Day 03: Ulleri(2010m) to Ghorepani(2870m) Duration of time:5-6 hours After having your breakfast, you will begin to trek from Ulleri towards Ghorepani Poon Hill. You can explore breathtaking views of snow-capped Annapurnas, Machhapuchhare, and Hiunchuli. As you reach rhododendron forest and oak forests, you start climbing upwards from there. You first reach Nanghethani and then you will reach the small village named Banthanti(2250m). Walking slowly and steadily for half hours takes you to Ghorepani. You can observe eight different species of rhododendron in the hillside below Ghorepani. Once there was lack of water so a horse was carried upto there which is how the place is named as Ghorepani. The awesome views of Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Annapurna are seen from Upper Ghorepani(Deurali). Overnight at Lodge in Ghorepani Day 04: Ghorepani(2870m) to Poonhill(3200m) and trek to Tadapani(2610m) Duration of time:5 hours Early in the morning, you will wake up at 4 o''clock. You will ascend almost for 45 minutes to reach Poonhill. After reaching there you will see overall mountains. You can see almost 20 different mountains from there. You can also see three mountains which are above 8000 meters i.e Mt. Dhaulagiri(8167m), Mt. Annapurna I(8091m) and Mt. Manaslu(8156m). The one important attraction for everyone there is ''Fishtail'. You will view the best sunrise from there which seems extraordinary . You will explore there and capture some memories and return back to the Hotel. After doing breakfast, you will head to Tadapani. On the way to Tadapani you can see the same mountains but from different angles. At the first hour you ascend to Deurali. From Deurali all your way is to descend into the river. You will cross bridges and climb to reach Tadapani for almost 30 minutes which is a beautiful place. Overnight at Lodge in Ghorepani Day 05: Tadapani(2610m) to Landruk(1565m) Duration of time:5 hours Today after having breakfast you will start your trek to reach Landruk. Your way goes to dense forests till Ghandruk village. From Ghandruk village you will ascend almost for 45 minutes to reach Landruk. You will also cross amazing views of the beautiful rural landscapes, terraced fields, farm land and high mountains during the journey. This day is the most exciting day in this whole Annapurna view trek and is also the simple trek. You can also see the gorge, deep valleys and sub-tropical and alpine vegetation. You will also have the opportunity to explore the Ghandruk valley museum. Ascending for 45 minutes leads you to the Landruk which is the village of Gurkha warriors. Overnight at Lodge in Ghorepani Day 06: Landruk(1565m) to Pothana(1890m) Duration of time:5 hours After having breakfast in Landruk, you will continue the trail towards Pothana. The way is a jeeped road. Walking through a jeeped road you will reach Tolkha. You will continue your trek nearer for 45 minutes then you will ascend almost for 30 minutes until you reach Pitam Deurali from where you can see a nice view of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri. From there you will descend to the way to reach Pothana. Pothana is also really nice. You can also see some astonishing mountain views. Overnight at Lodge in Pothana Day 07: Pothana(1890m) to Phedi(800m) and drive back to Pokhara(850m) Duration of time:4 hours You will walk two and half hours down to reach Phedi which lies on the altitude of 1500m on average. The path is steep downwards and follows the beautiful scenery of mountains and rivers.You will not see snow in the mountains when you hike down to Phedi. By reaching there, you will have a short break and drive to the lake of Pokhara. On the way, different mountains, villages and forests can be seen. Overnight at Lodge in Pokhara Day 08: Drive from Pokhara(850m) to Kathmandu(1400m) Duration of time:6-7 hours After having breakfast in the morning you will travel towards Prithvi Highway which is your last drive to reach the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu. Your way is an adventurous journey filled with diverse landscapes and changing topography. The duration of the drive will be about 6-7 hours. You can relish the drive with green hills, rivers and terrace farming. After you arrive at Kathmandu, you can head to your inn to take some rest or you can visit around Kathmandu.
